Our no-logs policy

A VPN can only protect what it never records. VPNTYPE operates a strict no-logs policy: we don’t keep your browsing history, the contents of your traffic, or the timestamps that could tie activity back to you. This page explains exactly what that means, why it matters, and how we intend to prove it.

What we don’t log

A no-logs policy is only meaningful when it’s specific. Here is what VPNTYPE never records:

  • The websites, apps and services you connect to
  • The contents of your traffic (it’s encrypted end-to-end)
  • Your real IP address tied to your activity
  • DNS queries linked to your account
  • Bandwidth or session timestamps that could deanonymise you

Why no-logs matters

Your VPN provider sits between you and the internet, so in principle it can see what your ISP used to. A provider that logs becomes a single point of failure: those records can be subpoenaed, breached, or sold.

If the data is never written down, none of that is possible. The strongest privacy guarantee is an empty hard drive — there is simply nothing to hand over.

How our model reduces what’s collected

VPNTYPE delivers access through a Telegram bot and a config key used with trusted open-source clients like WireGuard. There’s no heavy account dashboard quietly collecting telemetry, and the protocols we use are auditable by anyone.

Independent verification

Trust should be verifiable, not just promised. An independent audit of our no-logs claims is planned, and the full report will be published on this page so you can read it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

What does no-logs mean exactly?

We keep no records of your online activity — no browsing history, traffic contents, or activity-linked IPs. There is nothing to leak, sell or hand over.

Has it been independently audited?

An independent audit is planned; the report will be linked here in full when complete. Until then, our policy and bot+config model are designed to minimise what could be collected at all.

Can you be forced to hand over my data?

We can only ever provide what we hold — and we don’t hold activity logs. See also our Warrant Canary page.

Do you log anything at all?

Only the minimum needed to operate billing and your subscription (handled on our secure billing system), never your browsing activity.
